Wisconsin’s largest city is filled with all kinds of fun things to do! Milwaukee has something for everyone—from sports fans to art enthusiasts and everyone in between. With so much to do in Milwaukee, the most challenging part will be choosing how to spend your day in the city!

Milwaukee Art Museum

Probably one of the most iconic landmarks in Milwaukee, the Milwaukee Art Museum is a must-see for any art lover in Milwaukee. The Milwaukee Art Museum features over 31,000 pieces ranging from antiquity to modern and everything in between. All in one visit, you can see Ancient Greek pottery and a Lichtenstein; whatever your taste in art, you are sure to find something at the Milwaukee Art Museum. Great for any season, the museum offers both indoor and outdoor exhibits and is open daily.

Relax at Bradford Beach

Are you looking to get outside and enjoy some sunshine? Milwaukee has you covered! Bradford Beach is one of the hottest summer spots in the city. Bradford Beach has lots to do, including volleyball and soccer leagues, walking trails, and playgrounds for the kids. Bradford Beach is also an excellent spot for bird watching; it is part of the Lake Michigan Flyway and has seen over 228 species of migratory shorebirds and waterfowl! If you get hungry at the beach, be sure to head over to MooSa’s custard stand near the south end of the beach for burgers, brats, custard, and more! Bradford Beach is the ultimate spot for summer relaxation in Milwaukee, just don’t forget the sunscreen!

Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory

Where can you find palm trees, cacti, and exotic plants thriving in Milwaukee? The Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory, of course! Better known as The Domes, the conservatory features three different biomes, a desert oasis, a tropical jungle, and a floral garden. This is a must-see in Milwaukee for all plant lovers! It is an excellent place for the whole family to explore different ecosystems and is quite educational! The Domes are open year-round and offer an incredible tropical escape in the middle of Wisconsin winters!

Visit the Zoo

Spend a day with the family at the Milwaukee County Zoo! The zoo started in 1892 as a small mammal and bird display in Washington Park and has grown to more than 2,100 animals from 354 species, including everything from big cats to penguins.
